As a thank you to members, the credit union held various promotions and specials throughout this banner year.
Each month, members visiting a branch could enter a drawing where lucky winners received either $50 or $100 gift cards to retailers such as Amazon, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, as well as popular restaurants. We also held a monthly online gift card drawing to give members who are out of state or unable to visit a branch the same opportunity. And, each month staff got to get in on the fun playing Prize Patrol and handing out $25 gift cards randomly to people in our branches. Members were surprised and delighted to pick a card from places like Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, McDonalds, Five Guys, and Amazon!
January and February kicked off the “Give Back” promotion. New members joining the credit union were able to support our shared community by designating one of four organizations to receive a $60 donation from the credit union. These organizations all received a check because of our member’s thoughtful support.

Each April, credit unions celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month by encouraging young people to develop strong financial habits. Our teen accounts help young members learn to use a debit card and manage their money using online and mobile banking. More than 35 new young members received a $60 anniversary bonus after opening a teen savings or checking account.
In October, the focus was on new membership. All new adult accounts opened in the month of October received a special $60 anniversary bonus deposited into the savings. Over 140 new members took advantage of this incentive to establish a credit union account.
As we wrap up our 60th anniversary year and the celebrations wind down we want to thank our most valuable asset—our members—for their loyal and steadfast support.
