2022 Scholarship Program
Your Credit Union is proud to sponsor an Annual Scholarship Awards Program from December to February.

A total of $8,000 in awards will be presented:

  • Five awards of $1,500
    Traditional, written essay approach
  • One award of $500
    Photo-based approach

Take an original photograph that captures a sense of “bright future”.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be a primary member in good standing with the Baltimore County  Employees Federal Credit Union as of November 1, 2021 and not a previous winner of a scholarship award from BCEFCU.
  • Applicants related to the Official Family (Board, Volunteers and Employees) are not eligible to enter.
  • Applicants must be entering their freshman through senior year of college or trade school. This scholarship is for undergraduate programs only. Verification is required of acceptance/enrollment to a college, university, or trade school for the upcoming school year.

Judging Criteria

Will be based on the required material listed under the section entitled “Items to Include” on the official application and applies to all applicants. Please note – proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is a factor in the judging of the written essays.

To apply for the 2022 Scholarship Awards Program, please email the completed application package  or drop-off/mail to the Towson Branch.  Note: All materials must be received no later than February 28, 2022.

The Credit Union Foundation of MD & DC is offering $12, 000 in scholarship awards to Maryland and District of Columbia credit union members who are freshman through senior year college students.
