Earn While You Learn

Identity Theft – What you need to know

Crime has moved from the real world to the virtual one and the key to fighting it is knowledge. In the past, thieves would steal your wallet or purse for cash or credit cards— now they only need your personal information. This can lead to the depletion of your finances, a driver’s license with your information and someone else’s picture, as well as credit cards and loans taken out in your name! Identity theft is a growing problem in today’s technologically advanced world. Taking precautions with your personal information will help you avoid becoming a victim.

The presentation below is designed to provide you with a better insight into this growing problem. Are you ready to get started?

After viewing the presentation, demonstrate your new knowledge by completing a short quiz. For every correct answer, you get $1.00. You can earn up to a total of $10.00 if you get a perfect score! How cool is that?

You’ll need to enter your name, phone number, and email address before beginning the quiz. Any money you “earn” by taking the quiz will be deposited into your savings account at the Credit Union. Good Luck!
